The Samaritan Center
The Samaritan Center is a daytime drop-in that has been providing on-site services since 1994. Serving approximately 200 clients per month, six days a week, the Center is the only facility of this kind in Simi Valley. At the Center, homeless and nearly homeless can take a shower, get clean clothes, have something to eat, make phone calls, and receive mail and messages. Through outreach programs provided at the Center, they have access to public health nurses, abuse counseling, job recruitment, social workers and more. The Center is here to help the homeless help themselves to become productive members of the community.
